Halloween Costumes for Groups of Three

There are many Halloween costumes for groups of three people. Apart from the ideas of Halloween costumes for groups of three people from the usual list of the Three Musketeers, the Three Stooges, Three Amigos, Three Kings, the Charmed Sisters, and so on, below is a good idea for Halloween costumes for groups of three that are easy to make. This is a very creative idea.

One fun idea might be to go as Earth, Wind, and Fire. The people would be dressed as representations of the elements themselves, and only when all three were together would the reference to the music group make sense. Earth could wear brown and perhaps grey clothing. They could dirty their face with makeup and/or real dirt. Brown/grey construction paper could be balled up and attached to the clothing as rocks. I suppose earthworms (either paper or gummy ones) could be attachec as well. Wind could wear white/blue clothing with swirls or streaks drawn on like wind. Long, thin strips of paper, cellophane, or fishing line could hang from the sides and under the arms so that there was a windy motion about them as they moved. Depending on the length of the hair you could make that look wispy or wind-swept also. Fire could wear red/orange. Hair could be spiked up or otherwise made to go in sharp, mostly upward patterns. Flames could be drawn/stuck on the clothes, even if only with black lines on the red/orange clothes. The costumes would be decent on their own, but would really shine for the 'groan factor' when the three were together. Perhaps you three could even practice a line or two from EW&F's music to rattle off when you revealed the set.
