Outdoor Halloween Decorations
Outdoor Halloween decorations are very
important if you want to make good impression on your neighbors
or friends. People drive by your home will stop and look at
your outdoor Halloween decorations. If they are good, spooky,
and scary, people will appreciate and think how creative and in
the spirit of Halloween you are for putting much efforts into
decorating your house. Houses nearby you that do not decorate
for Halloween will be viewed as boring. Outdoor Halloween
decorations do not have to be expensive. There are cheap and
fun ways to decorate the outside of your home well.
What you need to decorate the outside of
your house for Halloween
You will need the following items.
 |
Newspaper painted black to
add to the dark ambiance. The kids usually
enjoy painting newspapers black so this can be
a fun Halloween activity as well as a Halloween
decoration.
The little pumpkin face
candy carriers. This costs a dollar each with
either glow sticks or LED night lights inside
for light (in place of jack o lanterns)
A scarecrow in human
clothing in the shadows to spook passers
by.
|
A sheet with a disposable Halloween mask
tacked on and hanging from a tree.
Lastly, you need red food dye or Jello with
seeds, spilled on the sidewalk, with a sidewalk chalk outline
of a body - not something to do every year. And if you use
Jello, be sure to use the low calorie sugar free version, or
else the spot will be covered with ants. Then you will really
have a scary situation on your hands. Very scary indeed
especially so when you need pest control to control the
ants.
