First divide the number of players into teams of tow people. Give each team, one small votive candle in a votive holder and light the candle. Eventually some teams might band together so they can see their surroundings better.

Give each team of two a list of treasures to find, a container or bag to put them in and set a timer.

If their candle goes out, they must light it from another team's candle which can be tricky.

"Hide" treasures in easy to see places since it will be rather dark - such as hanging items from light fixtures, in the bath tub, etc.

If the hunt is outdoors, blow a whistle when time is up. The team with the most items wins a prize.
