Desino Venefisio

Desino Venefisio is used quite a bit in Return to Halloween Town. When Marnie first went to Witch University, she thought she would finally use as much magic as she wanted without having to hide the fact that she is a witch and has magical powers. She was not pleasantly surprised when a teacher used the following magical spell on her and her brother, Dylan Piper, who thought that Desino Venefisio is a Latin word. The three Sinister sisters happened to walk past Marnie and Dylan falling over their own suitcases and translated for them.

What does Desino Venefisio mean? 

Desino Venefisio means "no magic allowed".

No Magic Allowed

Marnie was very shocked when she heard that no magic was allowed in Witch University. It was actually written in the handbook but Marnie did not read it before she arrived. The handbook says:

"The use of Magic on university grounds is prohibited.

Use the magic to complete schoolwork will result in disciplinary action.

Use of magic on or against any student, staff member or professor will be ground for immediate dismissal."
