  Return to Halloween Town is the fourth Halloweentown movie after Halloweentown I, Halloweentown II and Halloweentown High. Return to Halloween Town movie featured Sara Paxton as Marnie Piper replacing Kimberly J. Brown who was in the first three Halloween Town movies.

  In Return to Halloween Town, Marnie Piper is 18 years old and is ready to go off to college. She chose Witch University or Witch U for short in Halloween Town, hence the name Return to Halloween Town.

• Desino Venefisio
  Desino Venefisio is used quite a bit in Return to Halloween Town. When Marnie first went to Witch University, she thought she would finally use as much magic as she wanted without having to hide the fact that she is a witch and has magical powers. She was not pleasantly surprised when a teacher used the following magical spell on her and her brother, Dylan Piper, who thought that Desino Venefisio is a Latin word.

• Aneesa the Genie
  The role of Aneesa the Genie in Return to Halloween Town is played by Summer Bishil. Aneesa was the resident advisor of the dorm that Marnie Piper was staying in. Aneesa the Genie was the first genie to be accepted at Witch U. Marnie was quite surprised to meet Aneesa but the two hit it off and became best friends.

• Unreal Realty
  Unreal Realty is a realty company that was set up by Marnie Piper's mother while Marnie was away to Witch University. Marnie's mom, Gwen Piper, was so lonely that she needed a job to occupy her time so she decided to start a realtor business. Naturally, the phone number for Unreal Realty is listed as (801) 555-0174.

• Cromwell Castle
  Below is a picture of the Cromwell Castle, home of the Great Lady Splendora Cromwell. Although, Splendora Cromwell was in all of the Halloweentown movies, including the first Halloweentown movie, Halloweentown II and Halloweentown High, she was not known as Splendora Cromwell until the fourth Halloweentown movie, Return to Halloween Town.
